Noteworthy:

Tie up east of E-187 lift bridge on wooden face dock on south wall in front of park. Water and electric. Pump-out at west end of dock. Showers and restroom available (combination available from lift bridge operator). Or tie up west of bridge on south wall with no service. Posted 48-hour limit. Small town setting with grocery store, pharmacy bank, Laundromat, library and small Farmers' Market about 5 blocks southwest from dock. Excellent map of village is at dock. Visit restored 1907 railroad depot, now a museum. Concerts held in summer at park with waterfall.

To reach waterfall: From gazebo at dock, follow paved path downhill through town park, picnic area, and pond with fountain. After park, turn left on gravel road before railroad museum to access small hollow with nicely landscaped second town park with picnic shelter. Waterfall makes this one of the prettiest stops on the Erie Canal.
