Known as the "Limestone City" and the freshwater sailing capital of Canada, Kingston is a historic port and a gateway to the Thousand Islands. Established in 1673 as the oldest community in Ontario, the city offers a rich blend of history, culture, shopping, and dining.

The Kingston Transit bus service can get you to places beyond walking distance. Free ferry service for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists is available between Kingston and Wolfe Island.

The Trolley also sponsors a remarkable program called K-Pass that offers one- to three-day inclusive passes that provide transport and admission to a remarkable selection of local attractions. Visitors' day passes are available at City Hall and the Visitor Information Centre.
