CT: Long Island Sound Western Part - Saugatuck River, Multiple Bridges Schedule Deviation due to cold

Due to forecasted severely cold temperatures, the Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the regulations governing the operation of the following bridges:
Saugatuck (SAGA) Bridge, mile 1.1, across the Saugatuck River, Connecticut
Devon Bridge, mile 3.9, across the Housatonic River, Connecticut
Cos Cob Bridge, mile 1.0, across the Mianus River, Connecticut
Peck Bridge, mile 0.3, across the Pequonnock River, Connecticut
Walk Bridge, mile 0.1, across the Norwalk River, Connecticut
Harlem River Lift Bridge, mile 2.1, across the Harlem River, New YorkUnder this temporary deviation, these bridges may remain in the closed position from 8:00 p.m. January 27, 2026, until 8:00 a.m. February 2, 2026. Mariners are advised to plan transits accordingly and exercise caution when navigating affected waterways.
