From February 2, 2026, through March 27, 2026, NYCDOT will be performing repairs on pier lights and navigation lights at the Whitestone Expressway Bridge over Flushing Creek at mile 0.2, and the Northern Boulevard Bridgeover Flushing Creek at mile 0.4. Work will be conducted daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A barge will be utilized to conduct these repairs, which may affect navigation in the vicinity of the bridges. Mariners requiring full horizontal clearance may contact the contractor via VHF-FM Channels 13 or 16, or by telephone at (929) 687-2807. Mariners should exercise caution when transiting the area.
