Fender repairs are ongoing at the 145th Street Bridge across the Harlem River, mile 2.8, in New York City. From March 25, 2026, through April 30, 2026, barges will be staged 24/7 in the East Channel of the bridge opening, leaving 25 feet of vertical clearance. The West Channel of the bridge opening will not be obstructed.
Active work on the fender system will occur from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Mariners requiring additional information on this project may contact the project manager at 201-417-4115. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting the area.
