  • Reviews Summary

The reviews for the marina highlight a generally positive experience, with several key points noted by multiple reviewers:

    1. Facilities and Docks: The marina features well-maintained, clean, fixed docks that are easy to access, although some reviewers mentioned challenges with getting on and off the boat due to the fixed nature of the docks and the significant tide range. The dockhands are consistently praised for their helpfulness and attentiveness.

    2. Dining Options: There are two on-site restaurants, with the Shipwreck Grill receiving particular praise for its quality. However, some guests did not try the on-site dining options. The local area also offers good restaurants, and some guests enjoyed walking to nearby dining spots.

    3. Safety and Cleanliness: Reviewers felt safe at the marina, noting adequate lighting at night. The bathrooms and showers are generally clean, but some guests pointed out that they are shared with restaurant patrons, which can lead to issues with privacy and supplies during busy times.

    4. Pet-Friendly: The marina is noted as pet-friendly, with several areas for walking dogs, although some guests found it challenging to manage their pets due to the dock setup.

    5. Pricing: The cost of docking is mentioned as $4 to $5 per foot, plus electric, with diesel fuel priced competitively at around $3.95. Some guests found the overall pricing to be on the higher side.

    6. Local Attractions: The towns of Brielle and Manasquan are described as lovely, with opportunities for biking and exploring nearby attractions.

Overall, while there are some minor drawbacks, such as the shared restroom situation and the challenges posed by tides, the marina is well-regarded for its facilities, staff, and location. Many guests expressed a desire to return in the future.

    Overall Experience was positive.
The bathhouse was a bit of a walk to the side of one of the on-site restaurants. They were clean, but awkward to get to.
Difficult to get our dog on and off the boat with the fixed docks and few places to walk due to condominiums and fenced-off areas.
2 restaurants on site, but we didn't try either.
    50amp electric and water.
The docks were well-maintained with well-positioned cleats
Staff was friendly and helpful in docking and there was adequate water depth at dock and approaching marina.
We felt safe at night... adequate lighting.

Tom and his staff are very accommodating. The local restaurants are good. There are lots of areas to walk the dogs. However, there is a 5 foot tide range and the docks are fixed - it makes for interesting gymnastics to get on/off the boat at times, especially with large dogs. There are some finger piers that are a foot under water at high tide.

    Brielle Yacht Club
    $5 / ft plus $20 electric
Diesel as 3.95 - great price!!
There is also a pump out boat that they will call for you.
Quite expensive - we were on the fuel dock. It was lit up all night so it seemed safe. The Pig and Parrot was a great place for dinner. The docks are new and the dock hands were very attentive and helped us dock. The current is really strong in Manasquan. There is a railroad bridge for Amtrak. We didn't have to wait for the bridge to open but maybe something to consider. Bathrooms were past the restaurant. 1 shower and 2 stalls. Nice but not plentiful. You have to walk past all the people eating outside to get to the bathroom.

The dock master and dock hands were awesome. We tied up at the fuel dock which was super easy. The price is now $5 ft plus electric. It was a quick walk to an amazing restaurant Shipwreck Grill.

Beautiful marina with very nice, clean, fixed docks. Super helpful dockhands. Because location is past the railroad bridge, no issues with current or wake. Two restaurants within steps of the marina. Only downsides: restroom/shower is shared with restaurant patrons during working hours (so door into rooms is not locked, nor do restroom stalls lock); (on a busy weekend) restrooms frequently out of TP/paper towels/soap; our stern was aground at low tide.

Pro: Very nice fixed docks. Staff very helpful. Brielle/Manasquan are lovely towns. Restaurants are convenient.
Con: Very busy on weekends. Some noise from restaurants. no pool or lounge. Railroad bridge is a navigation challenge.
Conclusion: We would visit this marina again.

Wonderful stop, great fixed docks, call for pump-out boat, modest priced restaurants on site and pet friendly. Town of Manasaquan and Jersey shore within biking distance.
