4 19 2024 Stopped for fuel (Good price$3.55g) /pump out. Excellent help with docking and pump-out. They talked us into staying the night so here we are. The facilities are new and nice. Laundry is reasonable. 4 4 2023 Stopped here for fuel with best price around. Last Spring also the same situation. Staff good at handling lines and friendly. No hesitation to get pump out boat to dock and they pump us out. Easy in and out at fuel dock.

Can't say enough about the dock staff here. From the time I arrived at the fuel dock to the time I was tied up dockside they were with me and assisting in all ways. After a day of dealing with shallow water I was ready for the professional treatment. One look at the lines showed that there was no need to adjust them. We were there on a Saturday night and the evenings dockside band was sold out but they hooked us up with takeout and we ate on the back of the boat right next to the band. Good price on fuel and a nice ships store with the usual goodies.

Great team work here at this tidy Marina. Friendly also. They do appreciate a call in prior to arrival so they know where to put you. They were so busy yet efficiently took care of all of us and got us under way.

Nice marina. Nick stayed a little late to make sure that we got into our slip and settled for the night. We filled with diesel the next day...suppose to be best price anywhere until Florida. Friendly people and reasonable priced and great restaurant on site. Cute raccoon threw nuts at us from the tree on the deck...and cleaned up scraps from the rest of the deck while we were there. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Walking the dogs was good...short sidewalk going up from the ramp to a big parking area...then a side street (deadend). Beautiful area.

Great stop. They close at four PM. We were going to be 4:15 arrival. They had given us a slip assignment. No problem we have docked ourselves many times. We did not call them because we knew they were closed. Two excellent employees were waiting to catch us. Facilities are great. Fuel prices are the best in the area. Power is good

Stopped for fuel, it was really hot and we wanted a long marina shower so decided to stay for the night. Exceptionally friendly staff, food was great and priced fair, transient docks super easy to get to and protected from river wakes. Wifi worked really well too.

Awesome marina, very accommodating. At $3.59 the cheapest diesel we have seen in awhile. Pump out boat comes to you and it was free with our fuel & stay!! Short Uber ride to Murrells Inlet & a Food Lion

Hidden gem!
Lynn was very accommodating when I called to make an after hour docking. Gave great instructions and left a key card for us with the restaurant hostess for showers and bathrooms. Updated bath house and great fuel price!

Lynn was very pleasant and accomodating when we made our reservation. Nick, the dockmaster and his helper met us at the fuel dock. They were very friendly and welcoming even though we were arriving at closing time. Great diesel price. They then helped us get tied up in our overnight slip, a nice stable floating dock. Everything clean and well maintained. Nice restaurant on site, just a few steps from our slip.

Loved our 4 night stay here. The people that run the marina are very nice and responsive. Facilities are clean. Small shop with ice, snacks, beer/wine and a restaurant on site (Tuesday-Sunday). Low fuel price when we were there! Lots of Ubers and easy to the laundromat, grocery, beach and everything really! Right on the ICW. We will stay here again.

A well-managed marina. They return phone calls and respond to the VHF radio. Dock hands are first rate and experienced. When I saw the dockside pumpout receptacle, I asked a dockhand about having my holding tank pumped out. He said the dockside unit was inop, but then without hesitation, said he would have the pumpout boat come to my slip, which it did in short order. Great service.

There are only two shower rooms for the entire marina, but I did not encounter a wait during my visit in early June 2022.

Amazingly friendly staff ready to catch a line and help with fueling. Bar and restaurant were closed and no laundry facilities so we decided not to stay this time but will definitely be a stop on our way by next go around.

Great little marina, they fit us in last minute. Very helpful staff. Reason for four stars was that the store and restaurant were closed for renovation. Once those are up and running, would definitely rate 5 stars.

One of the finest marinas and working crew I have seen. New owners seem to have turned Wacca Wache around. I am told more big things happening in the spring. Dockhands are on spot and very helpful. Matt the manager and Nick the dockmaster have the place dialed in

So the docks are fairly new, nothing broken etc. Coming in late you might be tempted to tie up on one of the finger piers in the river. There is a current to contend with, so depending on your docking skills its worth it to look into the inlet just north of the fuel dock to see if a face dock has a spot. Its good water there and no wind with no current. Tying up south side to the dock in this inlet gives a north side view of a cypress swamp.

There is a $10 charge for a pumpout (even with overnight stay) and for some reason it took 30-40 minutes to empty my tank, usually a 5 minute operation. Poor design or poor equipment.

There was no wifi when I visited on April 12, I was told that there was nothing they could do. (Well, actually they could have offered me a free pump-out, or some other discount as I was paying for this service as pary of my dockage.)

Great marina for either transient or mid/long term docking. The new management has made many improvements. Easy to work with and the office and dock staff are friendly and very accommodating. There is an MTOA Port Captain and AGLCA Harbor Host available to assist members of either organization (check their membership websites).
