Nice marina with substantial rock breakwater. Our 43' boat was placed on a T-head with 50-amp power, floating docks with no pilings, so some fenders are required. Bathrooms and showers very nice. Just 4 stars because this poor little place has some economic issues; both a coffee shop and a restaurant/hotel had closed, so now they're down to only a single restaurant. It is a nice restaurant; food is better if you happen to get there Friday or Saturday to get the fresh haddock meal. There is a single funky sort of quick stop grocery store but it is mediocre and very hap-hazard layout, don't expect much produce. The store is in dire need of organizing and cleaning.

Transients are placed along a lay along dock for easy ingress and egress. Dock hands were right on the spot and were skilled in properly securing a boat. Mostly 30amp however 50 amp service may be available on a T end. If necessary I would recommend that you contact the marina at the time of booking. This is a recognized call in spot for Canadian border crossing. Very friendly staff. Plenty of water at the docks. Well protected. Very clean facilities. There is a local watering hole right next door. Wooden floating docks with potable water.

Hilton Beach Marina is a great first stop after leaving Sault Ste. Marie by the St. Mary's River. Different colored flags on each dock make finding your assigned slip quite easy. Washrooms are at each end of the marina so that is isn't a long walk from your slip. The washroom at our end of the marina was located in the "boaters lounge" - a nice touch! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant near the marina was quiet good - it outdoor seating. A little store was a block away and had an amazing selection of products.
