We anchored here for two nights after checking in. Quiet, well protected from winds except out of the SE. No shore access. Looks like there are rocks and such so be careful where you drop. We will anchor here again.

We spent 4 nights here waiting for the wind to die down. We had a solid 15 to 20 to 25 sustained out of the NE, anchor held. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so there were a few day/party boats but they were gone by evening. It may get a bit loud on the weekends plus you will deal with more wakes from the ICW.

We anchored just north of the anchor mark...had to scratch and sniff in but found water. Good holding, anchor came up clean. Wakes were a bit much but died down in the evening...we were there on a Saturday. Only spent one night. Would stay again, depending on wind direction.

We cut in at R44 since there were a lot of boats further north. As someone else noted, some of the boats seem to be more permanent in nature. It was a great stop for one night, good holding in super thick mud. May not be the best anchorage on a weekend due to boat wake.

Quiet Anchorage except for the occasional freight train. Good holding, thick mud that would make the Chesapeake Bay proud. Good wind protection N thru W. Would stay here again.

The easiest way to do this review is pros and cons.

Pros: marina is well protected, has a functioning pumpout, they few slipholders there are super nice.

Cons: marina has 1 foot in the grave, way over priced for the complete lack of amenities, no dockhands, the single bathroom is locked and no longer accessible.

Shopping center about a mile walk, easy Uber ride across the bridge to Eau Gallie. Note there is a swing bridge that opens on signal.

We spent the night here, anchored close to the derelict catamaran. At least 6 other boats anchored, plenty of swing room, current rolls through. Excellent holding. Easy dinghy ride to town. Fee to use dinghy dock is $10 plus tax. Not sure if there are any amenities included other than us dropping off trash. Would anchor here again.

We stayed here due to the other anchorage by the marina being full of traps. With the current, we would have snagged something.

The holding is great. Fairly strong current. We didn't pay attention to the wind/weather and rode out a 20hr 20 to 25 knt sustained ENE wind event with no major issues. Some rollers on the beam but to be expected with wind and current fighting each other. Great cell coverage. A lot of swing room. Would stay here again.

It seems like it would be a great anchorage but we don't know for sure. There were so many crab traps that there was no way we could drop our anchor, with enough chain out, that we wouldn't have snagged a trap when the current shifted. Will try again on our way north.

The staff here is top notch. We originally planned on two nights but due to some boat issues they were able to accommodate us for two more nights. Facilities are clean. Laundry is $2 a load (the marina office has change - yay). They have bikes, easy walk to a West Marine etc. Uber readily available too. They also gave us some names of boat mechanics . Matt showed up on a Saturday, solved our problem and even did a follow-up call to make sure things were working properly. Try to time your arrival at slack tide, the current can rip through there, especially so close to the bridge.

We did not go all the way to the marked anchorage. Not protected from a NW wind. Our anchor held fine but the sloshing of the water (wind against current) made for a loud sleep. Cell coverage is ok. Dolphins aplenty, along with Starlings. We would stay again, just need to pay attention to wind direction.

We spent two nights at anchor here. Good holding. Access to the park's dinghy dock made it easy to get ashore. Uber readily available and walking distance to Publix. Only complaint are the day boat wakes. It was tolerable but it may be more troublesome in season on the weekend.

We spent one night here. Well protected marina and the staff is top notch. Enjoyed our welcome bag, took Marianne's suggestion for a dinner spot. Facility is nice and clean. Bring quarters for laundry and you will be set. Great price on fuel and you get a discount if you have Boat US. We will be stopping by again on our return trip north this spring.

Quick overnight stop on our way south so didn't take advantage of any amenities. Lee and Mary bent over backwards to get us a slip on the fly. Well protected marina. Looking forward to another visit when we head north.
