Browning Cove-Heywood Island

Depth: 15-20 feet
Description:
On your approach to Heywood Island, swing north and west of E27 marking Shoal Island Spit, to come in on the west side of Browning Cove. The entrance is easy; stay to the center and beware of shallower water to port.

This is a large popular anchorage. Just stay near the center of the approach for deeper waters. The charts seem to be accurate here. Great place to layup before or after going through the swing bridge at Little Current. Nice anchorage to dinghy through after arrival.
