Always a great stop. Dinghy access at the city docks, easy dog walking on the river walk and Publix about 6 blocks north.

Stopped here for a couple days. Never found the dinghy dock, but there is a small harbor about 100 yards SW of Lorelei's behind an empty commercial building that has cleats and is well protected. Also beach at the library. Both worked well for dogs but the library access is closed at 5:00 so need to be gone by then and there is a sign saying no pets, but we passed through anyway. Walking dogs is on Hwy 1 unless you want to chance crossing to get to the one other street. We thought it was worth the effort.

We anchored north of the anchor logo in about 4.5' of water at high tide. Limited tidal swings means we didn't touch bottom at low tide. Great access to food (both store and restaurants) and a city park for our 2 dogs all within 4 blocks of Snooks and Bayside Grill. Bayside had no problems with anyone using their dinghy docks, but as usual, we did eat there a couple of times during our 3 day stay, but they don't require that in order to use their dock. Great boater friendly location.

Not great for boats with pets. Getting them to shore other than the small spoil island was next to impossible. Recommend different city if u have pets that need to go ashore.
