Deep water, strong current and exposed to wind. Thick mud bottom holds well, though. You will need screens in the summer months as the horse flies are relentless.

Many boats drag here, especially when the tide changes direction. Lots of wakes due to high traffic during the day, but dies down after dark. Dingy to DJ marina or beach the kayak. A fair walk to supermarket and marine store, but an interesting town.

Arrived on short notice with a fuel problem. They were full, but put me in their haul out slip until another boat left a couple of days later and I hauled out there for the winter. They have a small marine store and ordered a part online for me, delivered a day later. Great yard for diy and a court golf cart to get groceries. The team there are friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend staying there.
